I will be interviewing a coach that 1st-9th grade, Michael J. Singer.
Q:How many years have you coached and what was your favorite grade to coach ?
A: The Chicago bulls because they are my home town team.
Q: Who is your favorite player of all time why?
a great player.player

My Story
The first time I coached a team it was my Younger neighbor’s team. I was very excited when I got to the school and saw the kids I became even more excited because we had about 7 real ball players. Half of the practice I had them scrimmage to see the next three who I wanted. After that we worked on one play and I made them do it until they knew it very well and ran it perfect.
In the first quarter we got a 20-12 and I was very happy with how we were playing.

I will be interviewing a coach that 1st-9th grade, Michael J. Singer.
Q:How many years have you coached and what was your favorite grade to coach ?
A: I coached four or five seasons of basketball. Seventh grade gold team and this fall - when the 8th grade boys played 9th grade competition- were the most fun.
Q: Why was this your favorite year?
A: The boys were up against very strong teams and showed a lot of character to finish 5 - 5.
Q: What is your favorite defense and why?
A: It depends on the situation. 2-3 zone is very good and so is a half or 3/4 court trap.
Q: What type of defense do you like to attack and why?
A: Attacking a man to man is a challenge, but if your team can pass well you can take advantage of
your teams skills. Screens are a key way to beat man defense.
Q: What is the most important skill you look for in a player and why?
A: That is a tough question. There are a few critical skills a good player needs to have. Ball handling , passing and shooting are a few of them. But players alos need to be alert, play together, play defense. It looks simple but is a complex game.
Q: Who do you think is the best pro player right now and why?
A: Kobe Bryant is the best scorer , but I like to watch LeBron James. He always does something spectacular.
Q:If you could play for any NBA team who would it be? Explain.
A: The Chicago bulls because they are my home town team.
Q: Who is your favorite player of all time why?
A: I have to say MIchael Jordan. I saw him many times in Chicago and he was a great player.
